Very nice food, drinks are very expensive, golden wonder plain crisps 90p a packet, comfy bed, place needs a bit of a paint job, staff very nice, early close at 11 was unexpected though, room costs were very good and a nice breakfast was provided (could have done with free WiFi though !) all in all very reasonable for the room and b/b....

Another great Christmas Dinner at Dalgarven been twice now also Mothers Day always fantantic meal and quick service. Our table had our name on it with menu in scroll and Christmas card which i thought was lovely touch. Staff really friendly and smiley with positive attentive attitudes. Merry Christmas to owners and Staff at Dalgarven Hotel thank you for making mine and my son's Christmas wonderful. Roll on Hogmany looking forward to going back to Dalgarven.
Was in for dinner on Wednesday night with my partner for our first visit and will definitely be back. The food was excellent and the service was equally as excellent, the waiter I think his name was Jamie was brilliant nothing was to much trouble for him and was full of smiles and banter for everyone. Already recommended to friends and looking forward to using our loyalty card that we received.
Really enjoyed our stay here. We only booked for one night as we were going over to the Isle of Arran early the next day. We ate in the on site restaurant, the food was good and plentiful, this went for the breakfast too. Staff are lovely and the rates are good. Don't be put off by some of the tired areas in the hotel, the rooms, bar and restaurant are all clean & pleasantly decorated.
