We were very happy with our experience of staying here. Margaret is an amazing lady and nothing was too much trouble for her.The beds were very comfortable, it was spotlssly clean and it was very reasonably priced.Margaret even has coats and umbrellas should they be needed and it was difficult to dissuade her from giving us a lift to the local Corner House restaurant, hich is also excellent. If you need somewhere in the area of Kilwinning you can't go wrong with Margaret or Nethermains House, which is basically run to support the comminuty since the demise of Volvo trucks.'Ye may gang faur an fare waur'.
Good sized and comfortable rooms. The guesthouse is run as a charity, profits going to help educate under-privileged children, so it's all for a very worthy cause.It's a lovely building however it's tired and needs a serious refresh.Breakfast was very average.Overall it's fine for a short stay but it doesn't live long in the memory.
