Lovely place! The museum is super interesting, loads of agricultural objects from centuries ago and very instructive. The food is also very nice!
I grew up with the Mill being restored just down the hill from me. I was really surprised when it opened and taught me things I didn't know about the life of people around me.
Brilliant place for a rainy day visit. Lots to look at and explore, everything from clothing to farming equipment and old household objects / appliances. Wonderful cafe on site that sells hot drinks, homemade cakes, soups, etc. Indoor and outdoor seating. No card payments, so take cash with you.
Fabulous place! So much to see, all with clear explanations and detailed information. Lunch was freshly made and very tasty. Very good value all round
Interesting place, tucked away in Saltcoats. Needs a wee bit of money spent on it, but the staff are enthusiastic and the information is presented in an interesting way. Thumbs up to the museum. It's a place you SHOULD take the kids to, even if they don't want to, if they want to know more about 'yesterday' . . . .
